The Manor House, Bledlow

Set in the Chiltern Hills, this is the private garden of Conservative politician and former cabinet minister Lord Carrington. The house was designed by Robert Adam. The layout of the garden is visible on the satellite image if you zoom in on the location map below. There is a walled kitchen garden, water garden, parterres and sculptures. It is a dramatic example of an Arts and Crafts compartment garden, making more use of topiary than of herbaceous plants.
