Westonbirt is a 600 acre arboretum in the Cotswolds, with 18,000 rare and beautiful trees. It is of great interest to tree enthusiasts but little has been done to make it a place of design or scenic interest. There are free guided walks, mobility vehicles and dogs are welcome. Given JC Loudon's enthusiam for arboretums and the way the trees at Westonbirt are displayed, it can be seen as an example of his Gardenesque Style.
