Green Bay Botanical Garden

The gardens were designed by a landscape architect with a special interest in botanical gardens (Dennis Buettner). The garden focuses on the region's flora. Theme gardens include Four Seasons Garden, Woodland Garden, Children's Garden, Contemporary Rose Garden, Cottage Garden, Color and Foliage Garden, Designated All-America Selections Display Garden, perennial, annual and herb displays.

History

Opened to the public in 1996, Green Bay Botanical Garden's 47 acres of display gardens and natural areas capture the beauty of Northeastern Wisconsin's four distinct and wonderful seasons. Visitors will enjoy outstanding garden architecture that sets the stage for an all-star performance by plants specially chosen for their ability to thrive in the Upper Midwest.

All year. May to October - open daily. November to December - open Monday to Friday. January to April - open Monday to Saturday. Opens 9am, closing varies according to season.

Adults (age 13 and above) - $7 Children ages 5 through 12 - $2 Children age 4 and under – Free Seniors (65 and up) and AAA members - $5 GBBG Members – FREE NWTC Students & Faculty – FREE with NWTC ID card General admission; different rates may apply during special events.
